Upward Basketball
and Cheerleading

Dear Upward Family,
What an exciting time in the life of Middle
Valley Baptist Church! It is great to see how God is working in the
lives of our church members as well as in our community. However,
as many of you may know, we were unable to host Upward Basketball
and Cheerleading at our church last year due to construction on our
new facility known as The Commons.
Thanks to the providence of God and the faithful
giving of the church, we are now using our new facility. Our new
facility includes a brand new maple hardwood floor and new
retractable basketball goals. Now that all renovations are
complete, we are ready to start Upward Basketball and Cheerleading
for children ages K through 5th grade.
This letter has a threefold purpose. First, I
want to alert you to watch your mail as Upward Brochures will be
arriving soon. We will be doing evaluations on November 8 and 15
from 9am -1pm. Practices will begin the week of December 8, and the
season will run from January 10 to February 28. Secondly, I would
like to encourage any and all parents to consider coaching this
year. I can assure you that it will be a memorable experience for
you and your child.
Finally, I would like to encourage anyone who
might be looking for a church home, to visit with us one Sunday. We
would love to have you. We have services on Sunday mornings at 9am
followed by KidStuf and Sunday School at 10:30am. If you have any
